The story in one paragraph
Nana Bors is a Hungarian painter who made her first work at seventy-seven. She spent four decades as a journalist writing about famous people, ten years in Auroville, the international community in southern India, and now lives in Thailand. She has no formal training. Around sixty works exist, in six series, ranging from gold-ground iconography to calligraphic abstraction and textile assemblage. Her first exhibition opened in 2026, at eighty.
