Spinning
A single red gesture on white, with room to breathe around it.
This work was made by pressing two painted surfaces together and rotating them against each other. The movement produced unexpected forms, textures and rhythms. Afterwards a flowing, serpentine pattern was added, enhancing the sense of motion.
